Ja cię kocham…

….simple, healthy, and with lots of love.

About the woman in the apron…

Hi Everyone!  My name is Kristin, but a lot of my friends call me Kristi.   And guess what.  I am obsessed with food.  I will be the first to admit that I’m not a gourmet chef by any means. I’m just a girl who loves to cook for my loving and willing taste-testing hubby! So if you’re a person who loves food, especially food that is quick and healthy, then this is the blog for you. I also like food with an ethnic flare – it keeps things spicy in my kitchen. I LOVE sharing recipes and foodie facts with friends and family, and I look forward to sharing my culinary experiences with you.  If you are interested, you can also find my blog on Facebook.

I live with my adorable husband of three years, Jason and my cutie-pie puppy, Noodles.

On a more personal note…

I recently received my M.S.Ed. in Global, International Education, and Peace Education and am very excited to see where my life will take me. My heart and soul lies with those suffering in Darfur, Sudan, and I am a volunteer of Darfur Alert Coalition, which seeks to spread awareness and gain support for those encountering the cruelty and injustice in Sudan.

What is Ja Cię Kocham?

“Ja Cię Kocham” pronounced by my Polish grandfather as “Ya-chee-co-hum” simply means “I love you.”   Poppy loved to cook.  You would just about always find him in the kitchen whipping up something amazing!  As a little girl I would come in from swimming at the pool to find a sandwich, chips, and a coke in the bottle (most important) for all of my friends.  Oh how I miss Poppy.

This blog is dedicated to the unconditional love and fabulous food that Poppy would give us.  Ja Cię Kocham, Poppy.
